Carnival Glass Candle Hurricanes 85% off retail

The original retail prices on these candle hurricanes were crazy, $69.99, $49.99 and $19.99.

I purchased these on half price day from the Goodwill,

 ...the largest cost me $10.

They are dusty but in perfect condition.

They look great with the pumpkins I picked up at Home Goods and a crow (50 % off) from Michaels.

$2 Coffee Bar

This Fontana cabinet from Broyhill isn't really my style but the price was right...FREE! I recently decided to chalk paint a bedroom set that has lots of deep scratches. I figured that 

I could practice on this cabinet and make it into a coffee bar.

I was shocked at how little chalk paint is required. I used Waverly Chalk paint in "Agave" from Walmart, 16 oz jar for  just $9.47 and I still have about half the jar left.

This cabinet was more scuffed up than it appears in the photos and not all of it is real wood, some pieces are MDF covered in a wood grain paper type thing but everything covered nicely. I might paint the inside of the upper cabinet, I just want to be sure I don't get scratches in the paint.

So, all in, I invested about $6 in our coffee bar.

Misc Chinoiserie I've found Thrifting

This is by far my favorite thing to look for while thrifting!

Craigslist is also a great source for Blue and White.

You should always check thrift stores for frames!

I love the BOHO style frames I run across at thrift stores.

I found this heavy tile tray at Goodwill for only $5!

I wanted a tray for my living room to place on the ottoman so it can do double duty as a foot rest and a table.

These trays run anywhere from $28 - $166.

I got an amazing deal!

Curtains just $6.12 a Panel & $7 Brass Floor Lamp

I ordered 8 panels to cover our deck window (that has sliding vertical blinds) , these Blue and White curtains from Target are great at blocking the light. These curtains are great, No regrets at $6.12 ea.!

This brand new brass floor lamp was only $6.99, the room is so dark that you barely see the lamp but hopefully you get the idea...lol.

I feel like all the photos I see of these curtains distorts the pattern so I am adding a close-up

Tortoise Shell Inspired Handblown Glass Cocktail Shaker $2.99

I see so many bar cart projects on Pinterest and I am starting to think that it would be fun to put one together, this shaker is going to be the inspiration on color and which metal to use as I curate the various elements. Only $2.99 at Goodwill, I found the same shaker online for sale at $49.49.

The seashells on the window ledge were also found

at Goodwill for under 3.99 each.

Turkish Runner and Area Rug $22

We just moved and now have much less carpet, which is great for keeping the

pet hair under control but sucks for our senior dog that dreads sliding around

on our hard surface floors. Our long hallway is especially treacherous so we needed a runner. I was prepared to order something from online but we ran into two matching thick Wool Turkish rugs at our Goodwill, together they retail for over $300 but our cost was just $14.99 (retails for $209) for the 2' 6" X 12' runner ( I know... twelve feet long!)

and $6.99 (retails for $100) for the 2' 6" X 4' area rug. I did not unwrap them in the store so I was prepared to have to clean them of any number of mystery spills and foot traffic, however, they were both pristine when we untapped and rolled them out on the floor.
