Wooden Cheese Board

I found this Wooden Cheese Board at Goodwill for $3.99,
much cheaper than buying one new and it has no cuts or scratches,
plus this one has a lot more life in it (do they ever wear out?).

HOF: Kitchen Decor For Under a Dollar Each

I've been decorating my kitchen with these thrift store finds. The Blueberry pieces were only $.99 each. This Tuscan fruit design pitcher and bowl set was only $1.99.

Buddha Baby!

My Handsome Husband found this sweet Buddha while he was patiently
helping me look for a Cheese Dome at the Goodwill.
( Where have they all gone since the 1980's?)
Sadly, we did not find the dome yet.
You can never have enough reminders of your Buddha self in your life.
Just $2.99 !

I would love a fantastic deal on a huge Buddha too, come on Universe!

*Just a note, we found two amazing dessert cheeses that I can vouch for.
The first is a Blueberry Stilton, a mild white Stilton mixed with lush
fruity Blueberries, sooo very good!  The second one, a Pierre Robert,
is a Bloomy Cheese that is so decadently creamy it has an ultra
buttery texture with a taste similar to Brie.

Labor Day Weekend Hauls

After my mom passed away, I inherited these dishes
(retail $50-$60 each), I found this matching Chip and Dip dish in
perfect condition for only $4.99 at the Goodwill.

Someone I know is looking for cheese domes, these were a steal
at $2 and $3 at Goodwill ...now who was looking for cheese domes?

Our local flower vendor carries a line of expensive glass vases very
similar to this. I love Purple and gorgeous fresh flowers so when I saw this
vase, I wanted it and knew I could get a lot of use out of it. I went home
and it kept crossing my mind, so... I dropped back over to Goodwill to pick
it up and the half price tag color had changed to Blue so I got it for only $1.98 .
This lovely little piece of Pottery was only $2.50 at Goodwill "Ring it up!"
It is about 7" high and in excellent condition. We will use it for a vase.

CL Hall of Fame:Candelier and a Free Patio Table

This patio table is one of the first things I got for FREE from Craisglist about
10 years ago. This photo also shows the Candelier I picked up for $50. The
seller bought it from a glass shop in Seattle for $300, so I feel like I got
a pretty great deal on it. It is metal with votive cup in stained glass and we also
use it in our Halloween Haunt.
We finished off with new patio chairs and a very nice Gazebo,
both purchased from Home Depot.

Super Cute Red Luggage and a Nice Freebie!

I have been looking for luggage and found this set on Craigslist for $50. I fell
in love with it and the seller was a really great lady. As a gift from the Bargain
Gods, I received two additional large suitcases as a reward for not haggling
this one time over price. I hadn't even thought of luggage for the move but
now we have enough for everyone for the long trek West :)

Red Hand Blown Pitcher

"What we really need is a red glass pitcher to go with the glasses..." <--- That was the thought I had before I walked into the next Goodwill to check for more Red Martini Glasses.

I found this for only $8
It is in perfect condition and an original piece of hand blown glass too!

And as a bonus, it matches the martini glassware red!

In Search of Red Martini Glasses

Tricia and I are looking for party glassware and Tricia found these martini glasses on Craigslist...

"10 red martini glasses. Three designs, polka dots, swirl and stripe. No scratches or chips. $50 "

( In case you didn't do the math ... that is $5 a glass! )

Tricia mailed the link to me while I happened to be out with my husband running errands, saying that she made an offer on the glasses, so I hopped into the next Goodwill I saw and guess what I found !

( I snagged these, all in perfect condition,  for only $2 each! ...plus I got one new design. )
